Choice Proof 1875 Twenty Cent Piece
1875 20C PR64 PCGS. A blanket of golden-brown, jade-green, fire-red, and ocean-blue envelops this crisply struck and undisturbed near-Gem. Since the twenty cent piece was struck for only four years, proofs are highly contested. Although the reported mintage of 2,790 pieces suggests the 1875 is relatively available, one glance at the PCGS Population Report indicates otherwise.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 27GZ, PCGS# 5303, GSID# 5042)
