1877 Twenty Cent Piece, PR62
Scarce Proof-Only Date
1877 20C PR62 PCGS. This is a lovely specimen from a tiny
proof-only mintage of 350 pieces. The fields are brightly mirrored,
with subdued gray-rose color highlighted by significant areas of
blue on the reverse. The color helps conceal a few light hairlines.
A couple of small milling marks in the right obverse field explain
the grade.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 27H4, PCGS# 5305, GSID# 5048)
