Enticing Gem Red and Brown Proof
1864 Large Motto Two Cent
1864 2C Large Motto Two Cent Piece PR65 Red and Brown PCGS.
The Large Motto proof two cents can be distinguished from the rarer
Small Motto coins by the D in GOD, which is tall and canted to the
right on the Large Motto pieces, and the first T in TRUST is
farther away from the ribbon crease. This enticing Gem proof
displays deep sunset-orange color near the rims, lightening to gold
at the middle obverse. A wonderful specimen, sharply struck
throughout and free of mentionable distractions. Population: 28 in
