Description

1867 2C PR66 Red and Brown NGC. CAC. The obverse is entirely red, while the reverse is a 50/50 mix of medium-brown and orange patina. A loupe locates only a couple of pin-sized contact marks. This fully struck piece has great eye appeal. The Guide Book estimates that only 625+ proofs were minted. Census: 18 in 66 Red and Brown, 1 finer (6/09).(Registry values: N1793)
