Description

1868 Two Cent, PR66 Red and Brown
CAC Approved

1868 2C PR66 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. The color of this piece leans more toward red than brown, with ample original copper-orange and golden color. Light amber and violet toning on each side prompts the Red and Brown designation. Sharp motifs and excellent preservation are further highlights. A few scattered pepper specks are not bothersome to the unaided eye. Population: 26 in 66 Red and Brown, 4 finer. CAC: 17 in 66, 3 finer (11/22).
