Rarely Encountered at This Lofty Grade Level
1868 2C PR66 Red PCGS. CAC. Virtually flawless fields
display deep, watery mirrors and a lovely copper-gold color that
lies uniformly across the surfaces. Red proof copper is such an
underestimated rarity -- this issue boasts only nine pieces graded
PR66 Red by PCGS with two finer (9/16), a population that has
