Description
Stellar Proof 1868 Two-Cents
1868 PR 66 Red PCGS. Virtually flawless fields display deep, watery mirrors and a lovely orange-gold color that lies uniformly across the surfaces. Red proof copper is such an underestimated rarity--this issue boasts only seven pieces graded PR 66 Red by PCGS with one finer (7/97). We have offered the PR 67 previously, and this piece is very nearly its equal.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 274X, PCGS# 3638, GSID# 2734)
