1869 2C PR66 Red and Brown NGC. Clearly one of the more colorful two cent pieces we recall handling, this piece has brilliant orange mint luster with vivid violet and blue toning on the obverse. The reverse has orange luster with intermingled sky-blue, violet, lime-green, and gold toning. Deeply mirrored fields gather around lustrous devices with a trace of contrast. Census: 26 in 66 Red and Brown, 1 finer (3/12).(Registry values: N1793)
