1869 2C PR66+ Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. A visually pleasing, high-end Premium Gem Red and Brown example, showing copper-orange, gold, and amber hues with blushes of violet and chestnut. The strike is sharp. A couple of tiny specks are seen near the first S in STATES, but the preservation is otherwise exceptional. Population: 36 in 66 (9 in 66+) Red and Brown, 3 finer. CAC: 18 in 66, 2 finer (11/22).
