Description

1869 Two Cent, PR66 Red and Brown
Vibrant Toning, Deep Mirrors

1869 2C PR66 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. The in-hand charisma of this deeply mirrored, colorfully toned proof two cent piece is undeniably impressive. Vivid coloration reveals shades of cherry-red, lime-green, and fiery orange that blanket both sides, with only slight evidence of brown where the colors merge. The strike is equally compelling, with full details throughout the motifs that contrast with the boldly reflective fields. Just 600 proofs were produced, and it is certain few survivors can compete with the exceptional eye appeal and overall quality of this Premium Gem. CAC endorsed. Population: 20 in 66 Red and Brown, 2 finer (6/15).(Registry values: N1793)
