Eye-Catching Color
1869 2C PR66 Red PCGS. The Guide Book reports an
estimated mintage of 600+ two cent proofs in 1869. Exact numbers
are unknown because minor proof production totals were not recorded
until 1878. This spectacular Premium Gem proof enjoys eye-catching
copper-orange color with pleasing magenta and neon-green accents.
Clean and reflective with a single carbon speck within the shield.
