1869 PR67 Red and Brown Two Cent Piece
1869 2C PR67 Red and Brown NGC. A rich blend of orange and magenta coats both sides of this very appealing Proof. To the unaided eye, the surfaces approach flawless and the strike provides full details in the shield and on the wreath. The color is even and just a bit too mellow to allow for a full Red designation. Only 600 proofs are believed to have been struck of this issue, and few could rival this coin.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 274Y, PCGS# 3640, Greysheet# 2738)
