Delightful 1869 Two Cent, PR67 Red and Brown

1869 2C PR67 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. Housed in a first-generation PCGS holder, this Superb Gem proof is almost entirely faded orange, with some traces of light brown. It is an exceptional example that appears the same as the day it was slabbed.
When grading services first started encapsulating coins, there was concern that copper coins would change color after they were slabbed. Now more than 20 years later, the concern is unfounded. Population: 2 in 67 Red and Brown, 0 finer (8/08).(Registry values: N2998)
