Description

1870 2C PR65 Red and Brown PCGS. Wafts of mahogany-brown and faint purple combine with bright tan patina on the surfaces of this boldly struck Gem. Several tiny flyspecks are noted, but both sides appear virtually devoid of any contact. PCGS has certified just 12 Red and Brown examples finer (8/09).(Registry values: N991)
