1870 Two Cent, PR66 Red and Brown
CAC Approval, Lovely Eye Appeal
1870 2C PR66 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. The high date with the
ball above the 8 and the serif of the 7 is diagnostic of proofs.
The obverse is entirely pumpkin-gold, far more red than brown,
while the flashy reverse is a deeper shade of amber with speckled
violet patina. Population: 32 in 66 (2 in 66+) Red and Brown, 0
