1871 Two Cent Piece, PR65+ Red and Brown
CAC Endorsement
1871 2C PR65+ Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. Die doubling is noted
on TRUST as always for the proofs of this issue. The same doubled
obverse die was also used for some circulation-strikes. Rich gold,
violet, and blue toning accompanies the reflective medium brown
surfaces of this lovely Gem proof two cent piece. CAC: 32 in 65, 22
finer (2/24).Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2019), lot 7386; Central States Signature (Heritage, 4/2019), lot 7181.(Registry values: N991)
