Description

1872 2C PR64 Red PCGS. The year 1872 was the final one for which circulation-strike two cents were struck (65,000 coins). The Mint also produced a reported 950+ proofs that year, including this Red near-Gem. Strike detail is expectedly razor-sharp, and the fields are flashy beneath thin lavender-rose accents. Housed in a green label holder.
