1872 2C PR65 Red and Brown PCGS. While the obverse is nearly pure reddish-orange, the reverse shows areas of deeper mahogany on and within the wreath. This pleasingly preserved Gem hails from the penultimate proof two cent issue.(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2752, PCGS# 3649, GSID# 2753)
