Essentially Full Red
1872 2C PR66 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. Although PCGS has
certified this Premium Gem proof as Red and Brown on the basis of
some violet toning on each side, it is, for all practical purposes,
a full Red example with extraordinary surfaces. The boldly detailed
devices exhibit satiny luster with slight evidence of cameo
contrast. Population: 17 in 66 Red and Brown, 1 finer
