Resplendent 1872 Two Cent, Premium Proof Red and Brown
1872 2C PR66 Red and Brown PCGS. Lovely medium brown patina is surrounded by pleasing rose-orange in the periphery. The strike is essentially full, and it is difficult to locate any abrasions, even with a glass. Several minuscule flecks are noted, but they barely affect the dazzling satiny surfaces. Housed in a green label PCGS holder. One of approximately 950 proofs struck. Population: 16 in 66, 1 finer (7/08).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2752, PCGS# 3649, GSID# 2753)
