Exquisite 1872 Two Cent, PR66 Red and Brown
1872 2C PR66 Red and Brown PCGS. Variegated mahogany-brown and red-orange patina covers the powerfully reflective surfaces. The strike is full, and the surfaces appear pristine to the unaided eye. Only 950 proofs were struck. An excellent example of the penultimate proof two cent issue. Population: 18 in 66 Red and Brown, 1 finer (6/09).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2752, PCGS# 3649, GSID# 2753)
