Description

1872 Two Cent Piece, PR64 Red and Brown
Most of the Mint Red Remains

1872 2C Two Cent Piece PR64 Red and Brown PCGS. A second proof from this popular year. This is a distinctly different coin that retains orange-red mint luster over the right half of the obverse, the remainder the coin is cherry-red with little mellowing to account for the Brown part of the Red and Brown designation. Nicely reflective and an upper-end example.
