Description
NGC 1873 Closed 3 PR 64 Brown. An original striking, as are all Closed 3 pieces, the deeply reflective fields are somewhat subdued by the multiple layerings of deep blue and brown color with a few streaks of original red still in evidence. The 1873 was a proof-only date in addition to being the final year of issue, and only 600 examples are estimated to have been struck.
