1873 2C Closed 3 PR 65 Brown. A lovely coin from the standpoint of originality, the faces exhibit glossy-brown patina that deepens somewhat in the protected areas. Essentially non-reflective, the surfaces are, nonetheless, attractive because of their pristine state of preservation. With an estimated mintage of only 600 pieces and a poor rate of survival, this last-year two cent piece is an elusive find in any grade.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2753, PCGS# 3651, GSID# 2757)
