Description

Toned 1873 Closed 3 Two Cent, PR62 Brown

1873 2C Closed 3 PR62 Brown NGC. The Closed 3 proofs were struck early in the year, followed by the Open 3 pieces later. Although it is only designated "brown," both sides of this beauty exhibit a kaleidoscope of rainbow toning. The mirrored surfaces are also remarkably well preserved for the grade. An excellent specimen and a wonderful opportunity.
