Closed 3 Variety
1873 2C Closed 3 PR62 Brown PCGS. From a tiny proof mintage
of 600 pieces, the 1873 two cent piece is a scarce coin in all
grades. The coin offered here retains attractive but muted mint
luster, and medium brown surfaces mingled with areas of gold on the
reverse. A few scattered field marks on the reverse are consistent
with the grade. Population: 6 in 62 Brown, 71 finer
