1873 2C Closed 3 PR63 Red and Brown ANACS. . An important proof only date and the last year of issue, the Closed 3 variety mintage being estimated at perhaps 600 coins. Bright orange-tan patina in the fields highlights slightly darker design elements. The strike is excellent.
