Choice Closed 3 1873 Two Cent
1873 2C Closed 3 PR64 Red and Brown NGC. This older holder proof-only specimen is precisely struck and offers dusky tan-gold and lime-green toning. Carbon is minimal, and the quality is impressive for the grade. The Closed 3 variety is about twice as available as its Open 3 counterpart, although both varieties are very scarce.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2753, PCGS# 3652, GSID# 2758)
