Proof-Only Key, Closed 3
1873 2C Closed 3 PR64 Red and Brown PCGS. The two cent
series culminates with a proof-only issue that represents the key
to the entire set. The Guide Book reports an estimated
production of 600 pieces, including both Closed 3 and Open 3 types.
Deep coppery color includes iridescent accents. The fields are
flashy, though contrast is minimal. High-end for the grade with
