1873 Closed 3 Two Cent Piece, PR64 Red and Brown
Lovely and Impressive Original Striking
1873 2C Closed 3 PR64 Red and Brown PCGS. For the proof-only
1873, the Closed 3 pieces were struck the same year as the date,
while the slightly scarcer Open 3 examples are called restrikes,
though they might also have been struck in 1873. The present
near-Gem is an original striking, and is sharply struck with
minimal carbon and dusky orange-gold and steel-blue color.
