1873 2C Closed 3 PR66 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. A lustrous Premium Gem Red and Brown example of the final year of issue for the two cent denomination, consisting solely of proofs. The surfaces display light wheat-gold color, with subtle splashes of plum and silver-blue on the reverse. Sharply struck throughout. A couple of as-made lint marks appear on the reverse. Population: 28 in 66 Red and Brown, 0 finer (4/14).(Registry values: N2998)
