Iridescently Toned Closed 3 1873 Two-Cent Piece
1873 Closed 3 PR 64 Red and Brown NGC. Mislabeled on the insert as an Open 3. One can tell this is a Closed 3 not only from the configuration of the 3 but also from the strong horizontal shield lines (Open 3 coins have weak lines). Deep iridescent blue, brown, and cherry-red color.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2753, PCGS# 3652, GSID# 2758)
