Proof 1873 Closed 3 Two Cent Piece

1873 Closed 3 PR 60 Red and Brown. An original striking, as are all Closed 3 two-centers, and a proof-only issue with only 600 pieces struck less an unknown number that were melted in July. A red-tan appearance is accented with splashes of iridescent crimson, gold, and lime-green as the coin is turned under a light.
