Near-Mint Open 3 1873 Two Cent
1873 2C Open 3 PR58 NGC. This medium-brown proof-only example has selected flatness on WE, the right arrow, and the obverse leaves. NGC has interpreted this flatness as cabinet friction, although an indifferent strike may also be the cause. A small spot is noted near the left arrow, and a minor lamination (as made) resides on the inner right side of the wreath.From The Beau Clerc Collection.(Registry values: N1)
