Choice Proof 1936 Walking Liberty
1936 50C PR64 PCGS. CAC. A brilliant and boldly struck example of this low-mintage and widely pursued first-year proof half. The right obverse field displays a few delicate hairlines. The devices of this stone-white near-Gem display moderate frost, especially on the obverse, although the contrast is insufficient to merit a Cameo designation, and no 1936 halves have been certified as such.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 27V4, PCGS# 6636, GSID# 6764)
