Superlative 1936 Half Dollar, PR65
1936 50C PR65 NGC. This is a brilliant silver-gold Gem of this perennially popular first-year key proof issue, made to the extent of only 3,901 pieces. There is little if any contrast between the fields and devices, but a hint of golden color prevails throughout, and only the most minor signs of contact seem to preclude an even finer grade.
