Description

1936 Half Dollar, PR67
Inaugural Proof Strike

1936 50C PR67 PCGS. Warm almond-gold hues lightly drape unmarked surfaces. A few splashes of blue are also seen. Weinman's Walking Liberty design is fully brought-up on this first-year proof -- unsurprising but still readily appreciable. The 1936 half dollar claims a mintage of 3,901 specimens in this format. Certified in a green label holder. Population: 49 in 67 (4 in 67+), 1 finer (10/17).
