1938 50C PR66 PCGS. Though the revival of the Mint's proof program proved popular, in 1938, two years after its reintroduction, the half dollar mintage amounted to just 8,152 pieces. Both sides of this shining Premium Gem show bold detail and strong reflectivity beneath layers of gold-gray haze.
