Delightful 1938 Half Dollar, PR68
1938 50C PR68 NGC. A stunning Superb Gem with mostly brilliant surfaces. The obverse has two patches of deep reddish-gold toning, one at the top and the other at the bottom. The reverse has similar coloration confined to the lower border from 4 o'clock to 11 o'clock. Neither NGC nor PCGS has certified any examples finer (6/09).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 27V6, PCGS# 6638, GSID# 6770)
