Splendid 1938 Half, PR68
1938 50C PR68 NGC. Light silver-gray patina drapes the centers, while the margins exhibit varying degrees of gold-orange and amber-brown patina. A pleasingly detailed specimen, strongly mirrored, and exquisitely preserved beneath the widespread color. Neither NGC nor PCGS has graded a numerically finer example (8/09).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 27V6, PCGS# 6638, GSID# 6770)
