Outstanding PR68 1939 Half
1939 50C PR68 NGC. One would be hard pressed to find a more attractive representative of this 1930s proof delivery. Both sides are exquisitely detailed, even at the uppermost design elements. The surfaces shimmer with reflectivity beneath layers of pastel gold and tan. The obverse is slightly dappled, while the reverse shows more even coverage. NGC has graded only one numerically finer representative (6/08).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 27V7, PCGS# 6639, GSID# 6773)
