Boldly Struck 1939 Half Dollar, PR68
1939 50C PR68 NGC. While Walking Liberty proofs were produced using all-brilliant proofing techniques and are thus uniformly mirrored in finish, a number of coins are known with mint frost over the central devices. This Superb Gem is one of those coins, displaying lightly frosted motifs. Both sides are boldly struck, untoned, and immaculately preserved.
