Impressive PR68 1940 Half Dollar
1940 50C PR68 NGC. A wondrous type coin with a mintage of only 11,279 pieces. The fields of this piece are numismatically interesting as they display a combination of deep mirrors and a touch of slight mint frost. The mint frost actually seems to be from the heavy metal flow seen in the fields on each side. The surfaces are almost brilliant with just a bit of slight color around the margins.
