Description
Resplendent 1942 Half Dollar, PR68
1942 50C PR68 NGC. 1942 was the final year that proof Walking Liberty half dollars were minted, and a total of 21,120 pieces were struck in that format. As to be expected, these coins are relatively plentiful, even through the PR67 grade level. This impeccably preserved PR68 is a step above most of its counterparts and boasts razor-sharp details complemented by outstanding reflectivity.
