Spectacular PR68 1942 Walking Liberty Half Dollar
1942 50C PR68 NGC. The Mint still sold individual proof coins during the 1936-42 era, so the mintage of the Walking Liberty half dollar is 21,120, while the mintage of the Washington quarter from the same year is 21,123. This example of the last proof half dollar shows glints of gold and jade on both sides. As demanded of the grade, there are no visible distractions of any sort.
