Impressive Gem Proof 1936 Washington Quarter
1936 25C PR66 NGC. The first proof Washington quarters were struck in 1936, after a 20 year intermission in the production of proof quarters. Thus, this issue represents the first year of the type for collectors of proof coinage. It is a Premium Gem with brilliant silver surfaces on each side, and it is just shy of the finest certified.
