1936 Washington Quarter, PR66
First-Year Proof Type Coin
1936 25C PR66 PCGS. This Premium Gem proof boasts
outstanding eye appeal composed of glimmering fields and sharp,
satiny motifs. A hint of light champagne color prevents full
brilliance, adding to the eye appeal. Proof set production was
suspended in 1916 and did not resume until 1936. Washington quarter
proofs were produced only from 1936 to 1942 before another
eight-year hiatus until 1950. The first-year proof issue is always
