1936 25C PR67 NGC. Blushes of powder-blue and pale gold lightly cover near-flawless surfaces. A single tick occurs on the eagle's right (facing) leg, but the open fields, cheek, and other motifs are wholly unmarked. The inaugural mintage of Washington quarter proofs amounted to 3,837 pieces, none of which grade higher than this Superb Gem (10/17).
