Superb Proof 1936 Quarter Dollar
1936 25C PR67 NGC. First year of issue for the Washington quarter dollars in Proof format, and highly desirable as such. The mintage was just under 4,000 coins, a low production total in light of the ever increasing numbers of collectors, especially at the height of the commemorative craze. This Superb Gem Proof has pristine surfaces with a natural pale iridescence over reflective surfaces.
