1936 Washington Quarter, PR67
Toned Top-Grade Registry Coin
1936 25C PR67 PCGS. The 1936 is the first proof issue in the
Washington quarter series and is also the rarest in Superb Gem
condition. Fewer than two dozen coins in this grade are reported by
PCGS, with none so much as Plus-graded finer (1/22). This piece
displays bold sharpness and reflective fields, cast in dusky
tan-gold toning. Deeper russet color frames the borders, attesting
to the originality of the surfaces. Population: 22 in 67, 0 finer
